Horst Antes is a German artist who’s been painting in a figurative way since the 1950s. While still active now, his most famous years are the 1960s to the 1980s. Horst Antes is very famous for inventing his own motive: a character with the legs attached to the head (“Kopffüssler”, or “Head-Feet”).
