Terms and Conditions

All orders accepted by The Stonehouse Emporium are subject to these terms and conditions of sale.

All the items that we sell are of used vintage condition, and if there are any faults, they are throughly described. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our descriptions, and measurements. However, if the goods do not, on receipt by you, substantially meet the description on this web site you are entitled to reject the goods and return them to us.

Due to the nature of our stock, we rarely have more than one of each item, and will not be able to replace anything sent back, in which case a refund will be forwarded, on receipt of returned goods.

Purchases from the website will be dispatched by Royal Mail 2nd Class post, unless an alternative postal service is requested at time of purchase.

For larger and heavier parcels we will use a reputable courier company. Delivery times will be as the delivery provider’s terms at the time, but 15 working days should be allowed.

At present we are only showing UK postal rates, – costs for larger items and for deliveries to non-UK mainland and overseas destinations will be advised by email or phone call.

Risk in the goods passes on collection or on delivery of the goods to the address stated in your order.

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return it with the receipt to The Stonehouse Emporium for a full refund (excluding shipping costs) In this case you must contact us within 7 days of your order’s arrival with you by e-mail:

Items must be returned in their original packing and undamaged to The Stonehouse Emporium within 10 days of the items arrival with you.

You will not be refunded the delivery costs and you must pay for shipping the parcel back to us and insurance of the parcel during transit to us. A refund will not be made until we have received the parcel in perfect condition.
