This is a Taylor and Barrett Governess cart with baby – rare to find the baby.

8cm long x 4cm x 3.5cm tall

Some of the original paint is missing but this adds to the charm of this vintage toy which is over 100 years old

Painted metal
T&B had three founders who started on a part time basis in 1920.they had originally worked for Britains Ltd.
They went full time in 1929 when they moved to a large factory in East Finchley London.
The factory was bombed in 1940,and government halted toy production in 1941.
Play worn but still fascinating.
