Amazing retro enamelware fruit bowl by Catherineholm Norway, in the famous Lotus pattern.
These kitchenware pieces have become Mid Century Modern icons.
In  beautiful, vintage condition with minimal scratching to enamel, (see photo) and no patina to metal rim.
No chips or dents.
The designer responsible for this striking collection was a woman by the name of Grete Prytz Kittelsen.
Kittelsen’s, designs earned her numerous awards,as well as well-deserved attention as an integral part of the Scandinavian Design movement.
Legend has it that it the Lotus pattern was designed by Arne Clausen, and he added it to the range without consulting her and that she disliked it..
