• Edwardian Dark Oak Oval Mirror

An authentic  Edwardian oval wall mirror crafted from solid dark oak.

Part of a selection of early 20th Century mirrors we have in stock.

This classic overmantle mirror piece features a beautifully aged frame decorated with a carved border bands of 1.5cm wooden beading and four carved domed buttons.

The original thick glass plate has elegant 2cm bevelled edges that catch the light beautifully.

As an authentic antique, it shows very minor, character-rich tarnish spots along the very edge of the silvering, confirming its period heritage.

The reverse features its original solid wood backing board, iron hanging chain,.

The fixings can be changed on the back so that this can be hung portrait.
