Early 20th Century Advertising Shop Display.Morris Evans Oil

Part of a small collection of items salvaged from an old chemist shop.

Original cardboard back hanging display of Morris Evans iconic poster which was designed by W.Mitford Davies.
Originally printed in 1900.
Possibly from the 1920s.
Many of the items we purchased ranged from the 1920s onwards.
The central picture shows an industrial landscape of factories and gas holders, arising from which like a Genie, is a green figure personifying the diseases that arise from industry.Facing him is a healthy man, presumably representing the health that is said to come from the use of Morris Evans products.
On each product the location of the manufacturer is given as Festiniog, North Wales.
Display card is 11 3/4″ x 15″
Cardboard backed, good vintage condition.
Would look fabulous framed in a barbers shop, or as part of a vintage advertising collection.
