Art Deco streamlined tea pot. A rare example of the the work of Erich Krause and Ursula Fresca for the German ceramics company of Elsterwerda.
In the 1920s – 1930s they employed up to 200 workers, with many famous designers and sculptors. After WWII, the whole company archive went missing, possibly destroyed.
To find examples of the work of this amazing company, is quite rare.
It has crazing to the glaze and the interior is stained (I haven’t tried to clean it).
There are no chips.
