Part of the Robin Spencer collection of art books.
Robin Spencer ( retired professor of the History of Art department at University of St. Andrews ) curated the Whistler exhibition that inaugurated the National Galerie in West Berlin in 1969 and has written widely about his art.

A brown cloth hardback catalogue of Paintings, Drawings, Etchings and Lithographs, featured in the display at the New Gallery, Regent Street, Memorial Exhibition of the works of the late James McNeill Whistler.
First President of the International Society of Sculptors, Painters and Gravers.
A world famous collection, some lent for the Exhibition by His Majesty the King, from the Royal Library.
Cover is a little worn, and edges bumped, but spine is tight, and gilt tipped page edges bright.
Inner pages good and many of the plates protected by original tissue guards.

Some age toning but overall good for its’ age.
