Stunning Whitefriars Ruby Lobed Bullicante Bowl.
Part of a collection of Mid Century Modern British and European Studio glass we have in stock

Produced in cased Ruby glass, designed by Geoffrey Baxter, No. 9428. Illustrated in the 1957 catalogue

The heavy bowl has a 5 lobed base and irregular lobed outline, there are spirals of controlled bubbles emanating from the centre.

Width- 21cm  Height- 8cm

In fabulous condition with no chips or bruises,the base has a polished pontil and some minor age related scratches. (see photos)

A beautiful example, clean and bright, in a stunning colour which would make a great addition to a Mid Century glass collection.
