This feather fan was made in the 1920’s in England, and was the property of a lady who regularly attended balls and soirees, in West Yorkshire.

It measures 17" when open and 10 ½" closed. The white ostrich feathers are astonishingly clean and grease free, as the fan had been kept in a glove case for the last 50 years! The spines are made of celluloid, and are not scratched or cracked. The small bevelled mirror has unfortunately discoloured, but it still is usable.

For its age it is in remarkable condition
