We are in the process of updating our 1950s and 1960s selection. There are many
more items in stock that we have been unable to photograph yet- furniture, lighting,
ceramics, clothing etc. We will be adding to these pages in the next few weeks, so
please email us if there is something specific you are looking for and we will add you
to our wants database, or forward pictures as we take them.

Kathie Winkle joined James Broadhurst & Sons Ltd., Portland Pottery, Fenton around 1950, initially as a paintress, but by 1958 she was producing her own designs. She soon became responsible for all Broadhurst’s pattern designs from then until the mid 1970s.

This design "Wheatrose" was produced in the 1960s, and is a good example of her early work

The set of 6 desert dishes have been used and there is some crazing to the glaze, and some have very slightly faded, but they have no chips and cracks. They would make an interesting addition to a Kathie Winkle collection.

We have many more new items to list please stay tuned!
